This Saturday US 131 MSP completed its first Lane Automotive Bracket Race presented by Aeroquip and Mr. Gasket.   Jason Jensen, Tony Whitehead Sr., Steve Mesik, Merideth Snyder and Colin Conner were all victorious in their respective classes.

Jensen of Vicksburg, MI used a stellar .0052 in the finals to defeat John Wayne Pranger of Wyoming.  Tony Whitehead Sr. of Middleville, outlasted the entire Modified class to meet up with Stan Jones Jr. of Hamilton, driving a new 1963 Corvette.  Jones pushed the tree a bit too hard resulting in a red light giving Whitehead Sr. the win.  Steve Mesik of Plainwell endured the competitive Street class taking on Ed Masselink of Shelbyville.  Both racers left the starting lines with .03 reactions times, neither wanting to slow at the finish line.  Both racers ran under their dial-in with Mesik running just .0045 to take the win.  In the Jr.
Dragster classes it was Merideth Snyder of Plainwell defeating Taylor Green of Grand Haven and Colin Conner of Kalamazoo conquering Paulie Stewart of Paw Paw.

The next points race is schedule for this Saturday and Sunday, May 26-27.  Come and enjoy Memorial weekend with us and remember why we celebrate this holiday.  Thank you to all of those who have so graciously served our country to let us live in such a beautiful and free nation!
