Date posted: 5/2/2012 1:25:46 PM

With spring weather returning once again and hopefully to stay in Southwest Michigan, US131 Motorsports Park has four days of events planned for the first week of May.  This Wednesday is the Test & Tune with Leinenkugel's Ladies Night, Friday Test & Tune, Saturday Lane Automotive Bracket Series race #1 and Sunday is the 5th Annual Spring Bug Run.

Wednesday, May 2nd will make the first midweek Test & Tune with Leinenkugel's Ladies Night for the 2012 racing season.  Gates will open at 5pm with track time from 6pm to 10pm.  This is a great opportunity to have some fun and camaraderie with your friends.  Bring out the ladies as they save $5 per tech card and there will be food and drink specials just for them.  Cost to race your vehicle is just $25, ladies $20, spectator cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12, children 5 and under are free.

Friday, May 4th will kick off our Friday night Test & Tune.  Much like Leinenkugel Wednesday Test & Tunes anyone can race down "The Fastest Track in Michigan!" or just come and hang out with friends and meet new people.  For those who think they may be faster than someone else, take it to the track and find out!  Gates open at 5pm with track time from 6pm to 11pm.  Cost to race your vehicle is just $25, spectator cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6-12, 5 and children 5 and under are free.

This Saturday, May 5th will feature race #1 for the Lane Automotive Bracket Racing Series presented this year by Aeroquip and Mr. Gasket.  Gates will open at 11am with Jr Dragsters starting time runs at 12 noon followed by Modified, Top ET and Street at 1pm.  General admission and crew prices are just $12, $5 for children ages 6-12, children 5 and under are free.

The 5th Annual Spring Bug Run is this Sunday, May 6th.  Included in this event is VW racing featuring the North Coast VW Drag Racing Association, open racing for all VW powered vehicles, swap meet new and old parts as well as a car show.  Gates open at 9am for the general public, cost for entry is just $12, $5 for children ages 6-12, children 5 and under are free.
