Precipitation on the drag racing surface is a challenge that US 131 Motorsports Park is ready to handle.  We have many pieces of equipment that are used to dry the surface, including a jet-powered track dryer.  Every effort is made to dry the track and resume racing as soon as possible following a rain delay. 

Unfortunately there are times when the rain prevents us from running or completing an event.  This is determined by the promoter of the race and every optimistic effort is made before coming to a conclusion. 

Please do not rely completely on the weather forecast.  Many times a year we run events all the while it is raining in our surrounding area(s) or said to rain on us.
