TAYLOR WINS LANE AUTOMOTIVE SERIES IN TOP ET, QUICK 16

Jase Wanamaker Doubles Up in Beginner Jr. Dragster at US 131 Motorsports Park

 

Scott Taylor of Portage, raced to a Quick 16 victory on Saturday and a Top ET win Sunday and Jase Wanamaker of Kalamazoo, doubled-up in Beginner Jr. Dragster to highlight weekend action in the Lane Automotive Bracket Series at US 131 Motorsports Park.

Taylor, the reigning track champion, beat Steve VanderSloot of Kalamazoo, for the Quick 16 money on Saturday but couldn’t get around Erin Stirdivant’s of Dorr, impressive .012 package in a double-up bid on Sunday and had to settle for the Top ET win.

Other winners included David Markini of Grand Rapids, the Top ET champ on Saturday; Kevin Groeneveld of Dorr and Chad Six of Parma in Modified; Donnie Hagar of Liberty and Jeff Connor of Kalamazoo in Street; Callie Martel of Carleton and Trey Goodson of Hartford in Master Jr.; and Connor Denbleyker of Zeeland and Evan Muchler of Grass Lake in Advanced Jr.
