Top ET, Modified, Street and Junior racers from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Ontario, Canada, will compete in the three-day event for prize money, one of the IHRA’s iconic “Ironman” trophies and berths in the Summit Super Series World Finals at Memphis, Tenn., Oct. 20-22.

US 131 track champions Scott Taylor of Portage (Top ET), Dorr’s Kevin Groeneveld (Modified), Donnie Hagar of Liberty (Street) and Ally Muchler of Grass Lake (Jr. Dragster) already have earned a spot in the Finals. They’ll be joined in Memphis by this weekend’s winners.

A 2 p.m.-until-dark test-and-tune session on Thursday will lead into a Friday schedule that includes time trials and a Gamblers Race. Saturday’s schedule includes the Team Captains’ Race, team photos, a time trial and the first round of main event eliminations. A final time run Sunday morning will precede the resumption of eliminations.
