Honor Credit Union Test & Tune Information
The Friday and Saturday Honor Credit Union Test and Tune sessions at US 131 Motorsports Park invite participants an opportunity to bring their street cars, mom’s grocery getter, motorcycles, or race cars to The Fastest Track in Michigan. These sessions, conducted over a quarter-mile distance, are non-competitive and focus on fun and skill development for all levels. Even though these are test sessions, the atmosphere is vibrant, with race fans enjoying the sight of cars and motorcycles speeding down the track. The pit area buzzes with activity as drivers engage with spectators. Overnight stays are available to join the Lane Automotive Bracket Series held on select weekends. Participants simply need to purchase their weekend credentials upon entry on Friday. Tech inspections are mandatory to ensure the safety of all involved. Drivers must present their driver’s license, competition license (if applicable), and necessary safety gear. These test sessions at US 131 Motorsports Park are perfect for anyone looking to test their vehicle's performance, improve racing skills, or simply enjoy high-speed action. General Test & Tune Rules
If you don’t know how quickly your vehicle or motorcycle runs, you may make a pass down the track, and then you will be instructed by track personnel about what is needed for your next run. No passengers allowed.
Cars & Trucks
A helmet rated Snell 2015 or newer is required if the car runs 13.99 or quicker on the ¼ mile. A roll cage is mandatory on any entry that exceeds 135 mph. A drive shaft loop is required if the car is running racing slicks. Drivers running 9.99 or quicker must have a valid WDRA competition license.
Motorcycles
Bikes that run 10.99 or quicker on the ¼ mile must have an Engine Kill switch, with an OEM cutoff permitted in place of a lanyard. Bikes running 10.99 or quicker on the ¼ mile must also wear a 40-1/2 suit or leathers. Riders running 9.99 or quicker on the ¼ mile must have a valid WDRA competition license. Helmets must be Snell 2015 or newer.
